Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer

Nicole was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Corval Avenue in October 2022 and became Managing Director in August 2023.  Nicole is now Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of the business.

Nicole has worked in the finance industry since 1995, and her most recent role was Head of Private Debt, APAC at Schroders Australia.  Prior to this role, Nicole spent 13 years working at RBC Capital Markets (the investment banking division of Royal Bank of Canada) where she held the position of Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking Australia and Institutional Client Management Asia-Pacific.  She previously held roles at AMP Capital Investors and National Australia Bank.

Nicole has deep experience originating real estate, infrastructure and corporate and acquisition finance, and managing successful teams doing the same.

Nicole has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England, and has been admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Belinda Bible joined Corval Avenue in June 2023 as Chief Operating Officer. Belinda is an experienced COO, being COO for Credit Suisse’s Australian investment banking business since 2015. Prior to that role, Belinda worked in the Equity Capital Markets team at Credit Suisse.

Belinda has extensive operational, risk management and governance experience in regulated financial services built over a 17-year career. Her focus is on optimising business processes, developing talent and building robust controls frameworks and cultures to stay ahead of regulatory expectations. In addition to her operational responsibilities, Belinda also leads Corval Avenue’s compliance function.

Belinda holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, has been admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.

Simon Davies joined Corval Avenue in October 2023 as Head of Credit. He has over 20 years of experience across a broad range of lending products and industry sectors, with a significant focus on commercial real estate, including development financing. Simon combines extensive credit and risk management expertise with experience in restructuring and managing stressed and defaulting loans.

Most recently, Simon held the position of Senior Manager at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, leading the NSW and ACT property credit risk team for the Major Client Group and Corporate Banking, where he held a delegated authority for loans up to $250m. He has previously worked in the Institutional Bank at Commonwealth Bank, asset structuring and mid-market property at Westpac, and in Corporate Finance for GE Capital. During the Global Financial Crisis, Simon specialised in real estate restructuring at Lloyds International. There, he managed a real estate loan portfolio of $650m of performing and non-performing loans across the eastern seaboard of Australia.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Matthew joined Corval Avenue in February 2024 and leads Corval Avenue’s origination team. He is an experienced real estate debt originator with strong capabilities across deal structuring, negotiation and execution.

Matthew commenced his career in 2006 with Westpac and in 2021 joined non-bank lender MaxCap where he was a key originator in the NSW / ACT business, spanning residential, hotel, commercial and industrial origination.

Tracey is based in Walcha in the New England region of New South Wales and focuses on building and serving our investor base in regional areas.

Tracey has long been associated with Corval Avenue and has extensive experience in investor relations for contributory mortgage funds. Tracey previously worked with Patterson Byfield & Bryen Solicitors of Walcha and the New England Mortgage Fund, assisting clients with investments.

Before moving into the non-bank lending space, Tracey worked in banking for over 25 years with Rural Bank, Colonial and CBA and has managed branches in Walcha and the Port Stephens region of New South Wales.

Tristan initially joined Corval Avenue in 2002 when it was known as Eclipse Prudent Mortgage Corporation. Tristan focused on loan and client management before joining an external legal firm providing mortgage, default management and recovery services. Tristan rejoined Corval Avenue in 2017 as legal counsel and Company Secretary.

Tristan is a qualified practising lawyer in New South Wales who has worked in property and mortgage law since 2004.

Antonio maintains a strong network of direct borrowers and commercial real estate brokers across the east coast of Australia.

George has had a long association with Corval Avenue including as the Executive Director of the business when it was acquired by RF Group in 2016.  He is currently a Member of the Credit Committee.

George is the CEO, Roberts Co Global, a tier one commercial construction company now owned by United Arab Emirates-based master developer Arada.  He is also co-founder and Managing Partner of Farrer Property, with projects spanning residential, commercial, industrial, retail and hospitality across Australia and the Middle East.

George has previously been chief executive of the largest privately held real estate group in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Majid Al Futtaim Properties. Prior to this, George spent 14 years with the Multiplex Group holding various executive roles, including Managing Director for Multiplex Construction and Development Australasia.

Rob was appointed a Director of Corval Avenue in April 2021.

Rob is a founder and CEO of RF Corval and has overall responsibility for the Corval business, including investment decisions, capital management and the establishment of property investment vehicles. Rob has over 35 years of experience in the Australian financial services and property industry, with wide-ranging involvement in the establishment, re-structuring and on-going management of various property funds on behalf of both retail and private wholesale investors, family offices and institutional mandates.

Rob has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University and is an associate member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Financial Securities Institute of Australasia.

Tim has more than 30 years’ experience in financial markets and has held senior positions at Macquarie Bank, RBC Capital Markets, and the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF).
